Inspired by years of being indulged by my grandmother's and then my mother's homemade rice dumpling (‘zong zi’ in mandarin), this intricate
combination of amazing flavors, craftsmanship and tradition always warms the stomach and heart.
Traditionally made and eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival, it is a
made using glutinous rice, pork, mushrooms, dried shrimp, salted egg and
wrapped with bamboo leaves!
